First, it fits snugly, but not too tight, over a standard 4 x 4 PT post. I used a carbide 60 tooth blade on my 12″ miter saw and got a smooth cut, no burning. I ordered 8 of these and they came wrapped with shrink wrap, and protected by foam wrap in a banded cardboard box. Would highly recommend!
