Consistent Spacing on Every Rail Section
This 2 ft PVC jig takes the guesswork out of connector placement. Pre-drilled holes are spaced at 4-1/2″ center-to-center, giving you consistent, code-compliant baluster spacing across every rail section.
Simply lay the jig on your 2×4 rail, mark or drill through the pre-set holes, and move to the next section. Works with both round and square plastic baluster connectors (sold separately).
Note: This jig fits 1-1/2″ wide lumber only. It is a spacing template — not a rail section.

I thought I was paying too much for this compared to others offered at 9.99 BUT it does both rails at once. It makes for extremely easy pairing of upper/lower connectors and gets the work done in less than half the time. Best $25 I ever spent.
