36″ height rail = 30 3/8″ balusters
42” height rail = 36″ balusters
48″ height rail = 42″ balusters
Vinyl rail with aluminum inserts. vinyl is roughly 1/8 wall thickness. H metal inside is roughly 1/8″ thick. spacing is approximately 3- 3/4 inches between balusters. Balusters are vinyl with true 1.5″ x 1.5″ square or 3/4″ diameter Powder coated. You will have to leave sweep under rail to achieve the height ordered. Rail lengths will not all be true to size. For example, if you order a 72″ It may be 71 – 3/4″ but brackets are 1/4″ thick to add 1/2″ more width.
